Why I Find It Hard To Blog

Blogging used to be easy as pie. I can think of a million things to write about and not run out of topics but somewhere along the way, I turned 30 and would you believe it? A million and one brain cells died! Nothing to worry about. It's nothing serious. They got replaced by new ones who (I think) are not taking their job as seriously. Why? Because no matter how hard I try, I just could not think of a single topic to write about. I have been sitting in front of the computer all spaced out with...NOTHING.

And then I realized, those darned cells are not to blame. I am sure they still work. I just need to clear my mind. Maybe try imagining that I am talking to a friend. Someone I have not seen for a long, long time. Somehow it worked for I now have this inkling of an idea, it's not the most original but what the heck, I've already come up with two paragraphs.

Now on my third one. Ha!

Here's the question that helped me come up with a few more ideas. Why do you find it hard to blog? Easy. I'm busy. I got too much on my mind.

Then some more came pouring in. Don't try to make excuses. Be honest. Why can you not come up with a single topic when you used to find it so easy? What's causing the blockage up there? You turned 30 and your brain cells died??? Seriously?

Well, no, not really! The real reason is TIME. Right now, I suck at managing my time. And because time keeps me on the pressure almost ALL the time, I find that it's also keeping me from staying organized. I always seem to be doing something but surprisingly, my to-do list never seems to get done. What's going on!?

More updates coming up!
