I've just updated my Linkedin profile! I hope to connect with the people I've worked with since 2010 and so far, only 12 of them have accepted my invitation. Twitter is next on my list. I already have over 100 followers there but would like more in the next few weeks.
If you are wondering why I updated my profile out of the blue and even posted about it here, the answer is simple. Having a social media presence is a MUST if you are looking to spread the word about your potential as an outsourced worker. I do a lot of research and lead generation. I also do a lot of admin support work. And having a profile on Linkedin will I was told will get me more work.
